  1. some gas stations do it , in french big cities...maybe because they had "problems" with some clients... i can understand why they do that, and try not to feel offended : it's not a big deal, though... it's certainly a bit too cautious, in rural areas, where people know everybody.

  8. the place is shorter than the car, so it's a problem of size indeed. EUR standard parking places can fit all EUR wagon cars and suv under 3,5 tons.. US cars should not be allowed in EUR, where max width is 2,55 m, and 3,5 Tons. even if they can park, they can't open the doors... so, buy the appropriate car, or move to US... the best is to ban these cars everywhere.

  39. it seems like US drivers are not trained to adapt to the various types of roads/cars they'll find in many countries. on the video, some did quite dangerous things, and maybe they shouldn't drive outside US, if it makes them too nervous, or they should have a serious training (on manual gear) before renting a car abroad. the best thing is to drive Not too fast, look all around, stay calm, and don't eat or use phone when driving ! (apparently, it's not obvious for everyone, and maybe usual in US, but in Europe, it's forbidden...). to adapt, also means : "don't drive a 4 tons pick-up truck in Europe !" 😁 ("smaller is better", for rookies...😉)

(4 liters of "95" gas / 100 km, at 90 km/h ! 95 grams CO²/h max. ! ) LOL !! ( bought almost "new", only 10.000 km : 1.000 € in 2013 ! zero breakdown ! ) ( instant start, with - 10° C, outside without garage ! ) (drove 1300 km each month, from Brest to Toulon - FR ) ( (the very best deal of my life ! viva italia ! )
