  34. In the 90s, a contract position, or temp agency would have been a dream job for a derelict. Today contract or contract-to-hire jobs own a much larger portion of the workforce. Almost every web developer, web designer, marketing and IT employee start through contract-to-hire policies. For at least six months to a year, a worker has no benefits. And in the US this means they have no health insurance and no access to health insurance. So when the pandemic hit, companies dumped their contract-to-hire staff. These people will now be left without a job and without health insurance in the middle of the pandemic.

  47. Thanks, my emerging markets are doing terrible but that is because I placed my money in them three weeks before the outbreak. I plan to discontinue my emerging ETFs once I actually invest overseas, but due to the fact that their are no internationally flights. That's going to be a while. Thanks for the info mate.
