  10. Excuse me, I think you are oversimplifying. I see a person normally jogging and is first , getting chased by two cars and then, is blocked from front by 2 men with guns and a car, and second , by another man in a car from behind. If I was that person, I would, at a minimum, think that I am being robbed or kidnapped. NOW, add more context - the person is BLACK, the other 3 men in 2 cars are WHITE, in a White Neighborhood in the not-really-colorblind state of Georgia . You see what I mean?

  11. For one thing, the rioters showed a lot of restraint as did the police and security officers. This could have been a lot worse with massive loss of life.

  12. @NYT One despairs when reputed media houses like @ reduce issues to over-simplistic binaries. Just because you couch the binary in an obfuscation of curated visuals & audio bites, doesn't really validate the core truth about the binary

  14. You/NYT don't provide a shred of evidence that this "mobilization/training etc" is nefarious. They are on "look out for fraud" and if they are, what's wrong with that or undemocratic about it. Isn't it their right as citizens? If you are saying that Voter Fraud is Non-Existent, then why the heck are you so worried and ranting about?! ...That they will actually find evidence or what? (by the by, non-American, don't care who rules the US, and 100% believer in democracy)
