@PRINT Notably Dmitry Muratov is first Russian citizen since 2003 to win a Nobel Prize. It is a testimony to the stark and hair-raising situation in Russia that they had to give the 1st Nobel after 2 decades to an intrepid journalist. Those who remember, USSR/Russia was a Science/Tech, Lit powerhouse (not Economics, obviously) and so many won Nobels (though a lot fewer than would have won but for the cold war...)
