India of course had a "special" relationship with England.... the same one a slave has to the owner. ...Every time in London, one can't help thinking with sadness (that borders on anger), of the millions and millions of dead Indians upon whose bodies the buildings, the gilded gates and statues of colonizers (and the blasted Lions) have been built... No self-respecting, awake Indian can forget this fact ....(Commentators, especially Indian, who think that the average Indian thinks otherwise, are either tone-deaf in their ivory tower bubble, or are the brown sahib apologists suffering from Stockholm syndrome of the type that arises from being a pretentious cultural captee. So there.)

@literarymusings8886 Wouldn't call it a baggage though... useful tools maybe. OTOH, saying "F*** England (like the Americans did) would be quite the opposite of 'baggage'. Maybe the OP should have just said that, why digress.
