  1. One extreme way to reduce reliance on Chinese imports & reduce the surplus will be RSS Chief's "swadesinomics" advocacy. One can't opt out of global economic system but maybe it is time for a 21st century civil-led 'selective swadesi' movement - though I don't know how one does that for say specialized power sector equipment and thousand other similar things...
