  1. All sides of the story are clear ... there is no escaping the fact that pre-COVID, economy had slowed down. Not knowing the inside track, one can only assume that the recovery rate is influenced by the fears of inflation and avoiding 'irresponsible' deficit financing. One thing to note though is that long term debt rates are also at historic lows - at least the bankers think that long term inflation will be in control....
