  1. @PRINT After your lead on this, I read some incl a good one in NephJC (nephjc.com/news/covidace2) as the whole thing is counter-intuitive (why should ace inhibitors increase ace production) - It seems the key is whether ACEi & ARBs upregulate AC2 (they suppress AC1) & jury is truly out in both animal/human models (though 1 human study showed AC2 increase in only Olmesartan users that now has me personally worried; was anyways worried about ARB/ACEi & renal impact in pre-COVID era)... It also seems that recombinant AC2 may hold a key to cure . ---- ( The linked article has a lot of jump references for further review, including a good video on AC2/COVID )
