  1. The studio space is not claustrophobic, which cannot be said of all parts of the home, like living in a sculpture. The cool must have been a burden at times.

  2.  @RAREFORMDESIGNS  No, but I watched the video of the tiny kitchen and small rooms, I did tour a Usonian house design by Frank Lloyd Wright that was assembled in front of the Dallas Art Museum in the eighties, also cramped spaces, I found it claustrophobic, lovely design and practicality do not always go hand in hand. The terraces and the way it set on its lovely ground is what I saw as more a work of art than acomfortable space.
