  1. Thanks for the interview with good questions and detailed, well spoken answers. I have a friend in Ukraine and the conflict has been central to my thoughts since my friend fled Donetsk during the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine. I had no idea that the current situation in Ukraine went as far back as the Dubya administration and Iraq as far as catalyst events that set Putin with the goal of rebuilding a Russian empire strong enough that the West WOULD listen and heed Moscow. What kind of mental illness has Putin been suffering for decades that prevented him from seeing or acknowledging reality?

  2. 28:03 this is exactly why Russia must be evicted from all of Ukrainian territory. Anything less is telling Putin that it's OK to try again AND to try in countries like Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania, which Putin views as "in his backyard".

  3. 1:04:12 ironically, and hopefully Putin is intelligent enough to realize, if Russia does use a nuclear weapon that instantly will end Russia's capacity to wage conventional war and will only further serve to unite Europe and the West as Russia then becomes a rogue nuclear state enacting state sponsored nuclear terrorism.
