  1. A few corrections: 1) The container issue is snafu. Most empty containers never make it back across the pacific. The US doesn't export much and it's not worth the shipping cost to send the containers back empty. 2) There is not a shortage of truck drivers in the US. Container cartage pays so little that it's not even profitable for most of the single truck contractors doing it in Southern California. There are plenty of truck drivers, there is a shortage of drivers willing to work for free. Further, there's usually a backup at the facilities where containers are loaded onto trucks. The dock workers are often having some issue slowing down transfer of the containers. When they're working, the volunteer-like drivers are having work slow downs in protest of low pay. So, covid19 sick calls making container transfer less efficient wasn't any less efficient than it already was.

  2. I don't know. There was a glut of cruise ships on yachtworld.com at firesale prices with cruise lines hoping to get something more than scrap value. Scrap yards were overflowing.

  3. I'm an introvert and can entertain myself and enjoy peace and quiet. Being on such a large vessel with very few people sounds like the kind of cruise I'd enjoy.
