I recently saw the inverse on some guitar lessons type channel. The guy says "this one is pretty easy". Shortly into breaking the guitar parts down, he says "and then we get to the solo which is virtually impossible to recreate, so we're going to skip that". Lol, easy indeed!

Indians are dressing up like cowboys and the cowboys are putting feathers and turquoise on... And the music is sold by lawyers

Can we have a "what makes this song great" about the Bayraktar theme song?

Well, how else would YOU, the mere consumer, know what's good if WE don't TELL you?! -unnamed corporation, VP of public relations

If I ever decide to actually make time to learn guitar, it will be because of Gabriela y Rodrigo and Steve Vai. If I never make time to learn guitar, it will be because of Gabriela y Rodrigo and Steve Vai.

I recently saw a pro-am singer (amateur, but trying to make money singing) trying to use the Armstrong defense for Autotune. She said it is still real singing, just that since everyone is using Autotune, you have to use it to stay competitive in an industry that is now inundated. Autotune is basically an instrument in the digital age. Original, obvious creative uses of the Autotune "instrument" (Cher, T-Pain, Daft Punk as examples) is completely different than most modern "singers" who can't "sing" without it. Anyone who defends blanket Autotune as "real singing" is just full of BS, can't sing, and has no desire for originality or creativity.

@candace9194 - You spelled "app" wrong. Misspelling makes your offer look ever so slightly sketchy.

Rick, I respect you, but I'll provide counterpoint. I wouldn't get past the intro. That style of piano sounds ugly to me to a degree that it actually makes me feel nauseated. Since I listened to it while watching here, I did grit my teeth through the piano intro and find that the mixing is terrible. Adele can sing. However, the mixing buries her voice in the volume level of the piano. Then the piano fights with her voice bringing a lot of dissonance. The dissonance doesn't give tension. It further obscures the singer's voice. Ditch the piano and the song might be OK. As is, it's terrible. Even if we remove the piano, if the song is about her divorce, it's probably crafted to appeal to women and blue pill beta males who won't call out Adele's monkey branching and lack of reverence for the institution of marriage. "For better or worse or until we just 'don't feel it' anymore." The song is terrible.

Rick, regarding this muddled mixing and your previous vid on why everything is sounding the same, Johnny Lee answered the question 30 years ago. The music is sold by lawyers, the fools who fiddle in the middle of the station are gone. Meaning: what can the production company sell to the widest audience and the artist, the performer are going extinct.

4:22 Tears for Fears?? This wouldn't sound out of place in a Metallica song!
