If I broke into your house and said that I was taking over the master bedroom and kitchen but offered that I would stop punching you and allow you to also use the kitchen as long as you allow me to stay in the master bedroom, would you agree? I mean, I'm making it easy for you by allowing you to sleep on the couch and use the kitchen. Right? Maybe you're the nutty type who might actually want to have ALL of your own house for your use AND (here's the really crazy part) not have an intruder living in your home. Putin is making the same strategic mistake that Hitler did when he began bombing London instead of attacking the military targets in Britain. I have a friend in Ukraine and she's not sad that things are difficult. She's not scared that the next boom might be closer. She, and most other citizens are angry at Russia and want their troops to keep fighting until Russians are gone and Russia then has no reason to continue missile attacks in the face of its own looming economic collapse and with no hope of ever winning a war against Ukraine. The only way Ukraine loses to Russia is if Ukraine agrees to a peace deal with that doesn't include Russia leaving all areas of Ukraine.
