WHO can get funding from China.

Protesting is all fun and games until those stylists and their kids and clients start getting sick.

Republicans need to sort themselves out. First they have Dubya, not to be misunderestimated. Bless his heart. Now, they have have T-Diddy. Neither won the popular vote. I'd like Republican presidents to stop making a mockery of the office, the party, and the country.

SOMEBODY...owns shares of med companies that make hydroxy chloroquine. POTUS using his position to shill for what amounts to snake oil in an off label use of a drug. Disgraceful.

Every other nation doesn't have the Constitutional Right to spread disease. Americans are claiming their Rights without accepting the associated responsibilities to society.

"wear face coverings" people are wearing them below their nose or on their chin. We're going to have several rebounds, like a ball bouncing, where nobody is sick for 5 to 15 days (or hiding symptoms because they don't want to be "the person with covid19"), people relax, and then a flare up of all the transmitted virus during its asymptomatic period.

Well, there was that guy who ended up in the hospital after he took hydroxy chloroquine that was intended as an anti parasite treatment for his koi fish. A bit ironic that Trump's "treatment" is what sent the guy to the hospital. I'm sure T-Diddy wasn't responsible for giving him the stupid idea. Just like T-Diddy won't be responsible when adult Beavises start showing up in the ER from disinfectant or chlorine poisoning.

1:35 translation: working people need to risk their lives so T-Diddy and his wealthy friends' businesses can continue making profit while not sharing that with reasonable pay for their employees

@symonaleodim6649 - civil liberties come with civil responsibilies. Many people forget that. The economy isn't fundamentally broken as it was during the Great Depression or Great Recession. Covid19 hit during the biggest market rally in history (bull market). The market was due for a normal correction soon and would have slowed regardless of covid19. However, the economy is still fundamentally strong, even with Trump's trade war with China that he failed to plan an exit strategy for. The biggest shock to me is that a month or two out of paycheck to paycheck work hasn't been a huge, glaring wake up call that working Americans aren't paid enough by the companies that those workers are earning record profits for. Instead, shockingly, people aren't demanding better pay for their time, they're simply demanding that can get back to work to help the very wealthy stay very wealthy.

But, he won the election with 77%! The people love him! (sarcasm)

Fuck China. They've kept their markets closed to us goods but want "equality" and "fairness" when the US finally gets fed up. China is like a feminist, they want to have their cake (closed, tightly regulated domestic market) and eat it too (free access to other markets).

She better not die or RETIRE until Trump is replaced. We don't need any more Neanderthal puritans on the SCOTUS.

That poor Mcenanay girl sold her soul. I hope she can get it back when Trump throws her away like he eventually does with all his staff.

All 57 officers who resigned from the unit are admitting that they are thugs and bullies and should be able to beat up unarmed civilians. Those 57 should also be fired. Tear down the thin blue line, so bad cops can't hide behind it and can't have a bad influence on what would otherwise be good cops. If good cops shelter bad cops, there are no good cops.

Plot twist: Kim realized that he does indeed have a butthole and, amazed by the discovery, has been sequestered in a bathroom for weeks trying to figure out to make it work. This was discovered after a North Korean trade agreement with Mexico and several South American countries for large quantities of burritos, chimichangas, and other greasy, bean laden foods.

@flyinpolack6633 - there's other things to eat. Try the cereal or dairy aisles. As cousin Eddy said, "I don't know why they call it Hamburger Helper. This stuff does just fine on its own."

@flyinpolack6633 - please think one or two steps ahead. If the meat plants stay open with their high rate of employee infection, eventually the plants will shut down because enough workers will be sick that the plant can't run safely. Keeping the plants open will accelerate the process of a longer overall closure.
1
@Mj_s_Garage - the worst thing is probably that you don't believe it's a problem if a meat plant has a significant part of its workforce sick.

What's the saying? "If you say nothing, people may think you're stupid. Start speaking and you remove all doubt."

@deanpd3402 - Hi. You're right people die from influenza and not just thousands. Tens of thousands, about 30k, people die in just the USA every year from flu. However, covid19 has killed DOUBLE that in just THREE months. If you do the math, without preventative measures like testing contact tracing and isolation, that adds up to 240,000 deaths from covid19 over 12 months compared to 30,000 for flu. Also, flu will leave most people with a fever for 3 to 5 days. Mild Covid19 has people with aches and fever for 15 days or more and that's cases that don't result in hospitalization. Covid19 isn't "just the flu". Hopefully you or someone you care about gets it and gives you some perspective. Best of luck.

@jraddd3477 - the issue is that "their" choice removes the choice of everyone they interact with. That's the thing that "freedom and death" (a play on "freedom or death) types fail to acknowledge. My right to liberty doesn't supercede your right to life and vice versa.

@symonaleodim6649 - it was gathering at a place of worship that ignited the covid19 spread in NY City. If places of worship could be responsible and actually cared about their visitors, they would set limits to how many people can be inside the staff would work a full week and meet individually with people in need of spiritual counsel instead of just one day a week when the offering plate is out. The simple, sad fact is religion vendors don't make good money with limits on people inside and no offering plate being passed around.
