If the border "not being secured" is causing American deaths from crime, drug snuggling or other evils, the Trump is OK with Americans dying and illegals committing crime in the US for at least another year until he is (he hopes) elected. Trump is OK with Americans dying when there is legislation to curtail that available now so he can have an issue to play politics with.

  2. There were absolutely no POWs on that aircraft because there would've been nearly 100 people on the aircraft (crew, POWs and guards). There would've been bodies in the debris field and none are seen in limited media from the event but mainly, there's no way Russia would avoid showing lots of Ukrainian POW bodies out of respect for the dead. Worst case scenario, Russia was using Ukrainian POWs as a shield in the other aircraft that turned around when the one was shot down and Ukraine got lucky and didn't hit the plane with the POWs (but did hit the plane with whatever cargo was trying to be flown in with the other plane full of POWs as shields).
