  1. Corruption is EVERYWHERE. The United States recently had one of its dysfunctional House of Representatives members, George Santos, removed from elected office because it was found out that he lied about virtually everything and bamboozled the voters in his district. The fact that we see corruption in Ukraine is actually a good thing because it means it's being rooted out and the participants prosecuted. If you don't see corruption somewhere, it's just being hidden better.
