According to reports on Suchomimus channel, the incursions into Russia actually seem more significant than last year. The Russian Freedom fighters now have artillery support and helicopters have flown troops in to support their positions.

There's no leadership in the Republican party. Trump is entirely and only a cult of personality, limited to being a populist by default. He'll say whatever gets the most people fawning over him while caring about nothing unless it benefits him personally. Trump only cares about Trump. But, since he believes in nothing and cares about nobody, people are free to attribute THEIR OWN beliefs to Trump and make Trump whatever they want in their own minds. The entire "new" Republican party believes that politics is simply a reality TV show. Do or say whatever gets you the most attention and followers. This is just as Trump treated the presidency, highest position in the most powerful country, as if it was a reality TV show.

@Tbone1492 -my comment, which the YouTube thought police removed actually answered your question before you asked it. Trump is entirely and only a cult of personality and by default, a populist. He'll tell people what they want to hear in order to "make the deal". Trump doesn't believe in anything or care about anyone else. This combination allows people to attribute their own beliefs to Trump and then support him as "their guy" with the beliefs that they themselves have attributed to him but which he doesn't have. It's a rather scary phenomenon that so many people can fool themselves while happily allowing someone who doesn't care about them or the country benefit.

Because Trump believes in nothing and cares about nobody. Combine the above principles and it allows people to attribute their own beliefs to Trump and then support him as "their guy" even though he doesn't believe what his supporters are attributing to him. It's a rather scary phenomenon that so many people are happy to fool themselves while propelling someone to power who doesn't care about them or the country.

It's interesting that Macron remembers how it was for France last time a fascist dictator came calling. Meanwhile German Scholz is tiptoeing around offending the fascist dictator invading Europe. Germany doesn't have a collective memory of being occupied.
