17:48 re animals protecting human from sharks Marine biologist Nan Houser had an interesting interaction. A humpback whale used its body to block a shark from getting to the diver and then lifted the diver out of the water. She thought it was initially attacking her or at least being weirdly aggressive until she saw the shark. A year later, on a return visit to the area, the whale remembered her and they hung out for a while. Search "humpback saves diver"

@samsonsoturian6013 oh, the YouTube thought police are way more aggressive than you realize.

@jurassictyrantkingYT yup, saying that something stupid is...stupid can offend the YouTube thought police algorithm which was designed and coded by easily triggered, padded playground types.

As the other comment pointed out, the new larger locks are designed to actually recycle the water. The smaller locks don't have this feature. Since the water for the locks comes from a lake, if there's a rain issue, the water availability for the canal will be less.

"You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You’re a plague..." -Agent Smith (to Morpheus)

@Terracecasualx5 The first interaction with the shark was interesting, but for me the fact that the whale just sort of hung out the 2nd time, after a year, is amazing. He probably felt sorry for the little creature that hadn't grown any in a year! Haha
