2:00 you lost all credibility when you labeled the pacific northwest as a "weather and climate safe area". They're still overdue for a massive fault event (aka earthquake) that will likely show up during the period you're saying it's climate safe. Oops.

@account5223 - Indeed, they are! Tectonic and volcanic activity is a primary driver of the Earth's continuously changing climate. In the short term, this report is trying to say the pacific northwest is a safe area from extreme climate related events. If they're just talking weather events, I'd give it a "maybe". It's still misleading to say it's safe from severe weather then completely ignore the high risk of a catastrophic earthquake as far as where people might consider living if they don't want severe events.

@account5223 - You're missing the point. Saying the pacific northwest is a good place to live because weather events will be more mild than other places is very misleading because a massive earthquake is going to be a much worse experience for most people than severe weather events.
