@JohnSmith-xf6nb A good king is better than the best democracy out there . However, a bad king can delete a country from the map ... So yeah, democracy is not perfect but having the risk of getting a bad king is worse than a bad democracy.

@hst323 Yes, communism is an irreligious economic practice but it is terrible nonetheless as it is evident by the many countries which got destroyed by it.. Erdonomic practices are also terrible because they mix failed economic practices with religious dogmatism.. The result is equally disastrous with communism, and that will not change no matter how many irrelevant examples you bring on the table. But at any rate, I really hope Erdogan will live and rule for many years to come!
