@VladTevez Yes, MAYBE after centuries of systematic extermination and conversation.. And what happened to those who did not convert to the Turkish culture? Genocided or expelled from their rightful homeland...... Also, your point does not contradict my argument.. These lands had been Greek for thousands of years, since before antiquity.. The Turkish claim is still weaker when compared to the Greek one.. Especially if someone considers the fact that Turks took these areas as invading conquerors and we just settled there peacefully..

@TimeGhost Of course, the concept of nationalism did not exist earlier, so what did you expect..? Also, under what principles did nationalism form? What claims did the various nations used to support the ownership of their lands? These lands were greek lands since antiquity, under no circumstances is the Turkish claim stronger than the Greek one.. To support otherwise is an undeniable bias against the Greeks.. In addition, the fact that Greeks were fighting among themselves throughout the history cannot be used to support the notion that these lands do not belong to the unified modern Greeks of today..

@TimeGhost At the end of the day I know that the "Justice of War" is all that matters, and nothing will change by arguing with you.. However, I ask you to be at least objective when talking about these historical matters.. And no, trying to portrait everyone as EQUALLY bad does not make you look "unbiased"... That's just my two cents, I have nothing more to add if your stronger argument against the Greek claim is that "Greeks were fighting among themselves all the time".. P.S. As true Greeks we fight among ourselves even today.. You should know that better than anyone.. -Around 15+ coups during the 20th century. -The only country to go to a civil war right after the end of the 2nd WW (the very next day in fact). -Even in your video you mention how we were divided between Venizelos' supporters and King's subjects. -The refugee crisis that happens in Greece right now, proves once more that we are as divided as ever... We are fighting among ourselves in order to protect our individual interests, like we always do...

"A rather liberal interpretation"???? Is there anyone else in the region speaking Greek at the moment? Cause last time i checked, Modern Greeks are the only ones who can be connected to Ancient Greece.... Or you suggest that Greeks simply vanished one day? This statement suggests a bias.. In an effort to look "unbiased", you try really hard to present both sides as "wrong"... Which leads to false statements like the aforementioned one...

@Aimos-apo-tin-Tauris Of course, based on these "tribal/regional differences" (if you want to call them just that) modern nations have set and agreed on their common borders.. So yeah, I am bitter an occupier acts like he owns the place.. Again, my argument is that the greek claim on these lands is stronger than the tuskish one.. Nothing, you have said so far counts as a valid counter-argument...... I am trying to have an objective discussion here, and simply taking the middle ground by saying "Both sides were EQUALLY horrible" is no objective in the slightest.. I adore history, and from my point of view, sometimes in history there is a right side and a wrong side..

@Aimos-apo-tin-Tauris If you are asking me all the victims of the Greek Genocide should be recognized, if that's what you are asking me about at least.....

@Aimos-apo-tin-Tauris Yeap..!!

@SaintPanzerker That's because you are illiterate when it comes to history.. Greeks have the strongest claim in western Anatolia, they had been living there for nearly 2000 years, comparing that to the Turkish claim is absurd..

@SaintPanzerker Is not about "past glory" it is about what is right and wrong, never in history have anyone sided morally with the invader.. Especially when the invasion was completely unprovoked...
