@trevorhart545 The enemy is Turkey.... Europe should stand united against the neo-ottoman fantasies of wannabe Sultan Erdogan.. You breached your agreement when you've sent thousand of immigrants to the Greek borders in hopes of intimidating Europe.. You have wasted enough of European money.. You won't get any more no matter how hard you try to blackmail Europe.. Oh and btw, under UN treaties Turkey is obliged to keep the refugees and not the European countries.. Turkey has common borders with Syria, not Europe.. Last but no least, most of them are illegal immigrants who are arriving at EU with Turkish help.. Not even real refugees.. PS: Greek islands were receiving these "refugees" even when the agreement was hypothetically in effect, so you could not even do the job you were paid for right...!

@paulcarroll6995 Turkey is allied with the US and was directly involved in Syrian matters.. Do not try to play innocent.. You cannot bring up UN treaties to support your argument and then dismiss UN treaties as worthless (I agree though they really are worthless) as soon as you realize they do not work in your favor.. This is typical turkish attitude.. They will pose as victims by saying things like "buhuhu according to this treaty other countries are unjust toward us" while breaching 829729285 different treaties themselves.. Want another example? Turkey: "According to UNCLOS (which we did not sign, but who cares about details?), we are supposed to have 12 nautical miles of territorial waters in the Black Sea.. Also Turkey: "UNCLOS cannot be implemented in the Aegean Sea because it does not work in our favor.." The bottom line? You either honor treaties with all the bad and the good things this might mean for your country or you dismiss them and face the consequences.. You cannot have the best of both worlds like a cheating husband/wife.. And no, the examples of other criminal nations do not help your case one bit.. The fact there are other criminals beside you in the world, does not mean the act of crime is right..

@paulcarroll6995 And btw regarding UNCLOS Greeks put up with Turkish military being in less than 10km away.. And no, it's not irrelevant.. It is an example of typical of Turkish attitude and hypocrisy.. Sorry to ruin your fragile narrative, the dispute is unreasonable.. And Turkey obviously implements UNCLOS.. WHERE/WHEN it suits them.. If Turkey doesn't like UNCLOS they shouldn't expand their terirotial waters to 12 n.m in the Black Sea.. If they do honor it they should accept the FACT the islands in the Aegean are Greek and therefore Aegean belongs to Greece (at least the majority of it).. You get to choose ONE, you cannot have the best of both worlds... Turkey is a rogue state.. Period!
