AFRICANS sold africans to europeans. africans from the barbery coast invented slavery, their original targets were slavic people, white northern europeans (the origin of the word slave comes from Slav). slavery has been a global problem since the dawn of time. the uk and the us were the first to denounce it and it is still a major problem in africa, india, asia and russia.
