  1. the west buys african food and agricultural goods just so they can destroy it, thus giving their products more advantageous when the west "buys" from african countries, they don't have to pay much as those countries still have a lot of debt imposed on them, so countries in africa are paying for most of the stuff the european union sells leftover dairy products to african countries, causing local farms to go bankrupt
