I noticed the American anthem is usually sung with screams. Can't be sung any other way. There are some anthems out there (other countries) that can be sung differently. With soft melody or loud roars. Piano and forte. I'm not a music expert nor amateur, but I do have ears.

Instead of erasing or overwriting the anthem, just reform it, or change it up a bit. Make it a little easier.

Wasn't the current US anthem implemented about a hundred years ago? Before The Star-Spangled Banner, it was Hail Columbia and My Country, 'Tis of Thee. "With a range of one and a half octaves, it is known for being difficult to sing. Although the poem has four stanzas, only the first is commonly sung today. "The Star-Spangled Banner" was recognized for official use by the Navy in 1889, and by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916, and was made the national anthem by a congressional resolution on March 3, 1931"
