  2. i think manchu has the best treatment in china by far. "chinese clothing" is just reformed manchu clothing. the nobility and people weren't really punished, they were somewhat rewarded after qing. they are a minority, so they can have as many children. their former empire is always defended by people when talked about. i heard manchus are doing really well today, with many of them being [in] "actors, actress, cross talks, Chinese folk arts, singers, Beijing operas".
