Brics are producing countries with weak domestic consumption. Second is brain drain. Last week a mission from a European region visited India to recruit engineers to go to Europe. These are challenges you should not underestimate. India is far behind with only 2% of global manufacturing with China 15%. Next add automatisation and robotics. In a not so distant future production may return closer to consumer markets.
