@Grand Wonder Your point is exactly the point of Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu, I just typed what he said. Li Shangfu is asking those who accused China being the ‘aggressor’ to think, why military dispute and confrontation ‘always’ happened near China’s territory, not that of the U.S., therefore this reveals who is actually the so-called ‘freedom of navigation’ hegemony, it’s the United States being disrespectful and aggressive toward China’s territorial water and airspace. Freedom of navigation has never been any issue in that part of region with countries from all over the world by practicing respectful ‘innocent passage’. But U.S. is the one who exploits and abuses ‘freedom of navigation’ by conducting spy and harassment of getting too close to China’s territorial water and airspace.
