People voted against Republican NOT because they like or agree with Democrats, they are simply against Trump’s possible come back. Look at how ‘confident’ Biden is now after the election, as if Democrats won. Those who voted Democrats would now hold Democrats accountable for the battle they expect Democrats to fight for them, such as federal abortion right, I wouldn’t count on Democrat to fight this, because they didn’t when they had controls in both houses, what makes people think Democrats would fight abortion right when they lost full control of the Congress.
