  1. Technically the illegal occupier DOES NOT have the right to defend itself, and the occupied has every right to defend itself with all possible means on its own land. It’s like asking when someone intruded your property, and you should have the right to use force to deter the intruder. When you use force, the intruder also uses force to fight back at you, are you telling me that the intruder has the right to defend itself?! Why is it when the law applies to our property right is regulated clearly, but not when it comes to nation states territorial integrity and rights? The logic is so messed up!

  2. Does he realize UN is a global community institution, does he realize US is not only an UN country, US is also an UNSC permanent member who has VETO power? With power, it comes with responsibility. Any county in UN General Assembly has to vote for some resolution, you have to have moral judgement to make decisions as how to cast your vote. I can not trust a person trying to dodge a simple moral question every leader in my view should equip with moral judgement to be a good leader. I agree US shouldn’t go around the world intervening other countries’ internal affairs in attempt to pursue US imperial long arm hegemony. But Israel Palestine conflict is NOT an internal affair, it’s an international conflict, it needs international community intervention, it requires moral assessments especially when it comes to civilians humanitarian issues.
