If you backtrack Macron, he has called for EU to restore military and economic sovereignty, but every time he spoke about this, some chaos just ‘mysteriously’ happened that EU is forced and hijacked by the mysterious event (hint: such as Russia Ukraine war and destruction of NS pipeline), their push for independent sovereignty is regressed to back burners.
