@nataliashevchenko9684 Pushing back doesn’t need to be rude or aggressive, it’s just simply asking questions, there are nicer way to ask question without making people feel defensive. But asking important and critical questions during interviews is what defines journalism.

@serjherman I agree Arron and Max both have been asking critical questions, and they’ve done good. My comment applies to this particular interview when Seth’s accusation on Russia were not backed by convincing evidence, that his accusation shall be questioned. I think it’s good to invite someone like Seth on Push Back, but if his views are full of baseless bias like any mainstream journalist, without being challenged, what’s the point other than giving more air time and platform for more already overwhelming Russophobia…?

Seth is the fine example of ideologically indiscriminate anti war bot on auto pilot, who knows all historic contexts what leads to Russian military operation, yet still feel compelled to conclude “Bad Russia, Evil Putin”, because that’s what bigotry does to a deeply biased brainwashed mind, they would not let go of their deep bias even knowing all full well Russian has no other choice but to defend itself. Bigotry is petty but too toxically powerful.

Whenever I hear people like Seth said “anti war is a principle”, they box in ‘anti war narrative’ as some kind of ideological fantasy, conveniently ignore all historic context that leads to this war. it’s like telling your kids, “don’t you fight back no matter how much you have been bullied and pushed to the wall, try to rationale with the bullies, try talking nice to the bullies, but above all in no circumstances, DON’T ever push back.”, in this case, the bullies US/NATO is the BLACK HAND does all the pushing BEHIND Ukraine. It’s so lazy, convenient and cheap to condemn Russia, while these self proclaimed ‘anti war advocates’ can’t offer any better solutions what more Russia could have done.

Instead of repeatedly asking if Russia’s military operation in Ukraine is justified, why not ask a better question that initiated this conflict: — Is US/NATO expansion justified? — Is US/NATO heavy intervention in Ukraine since 2014 with coups, financial support and intensive training Ukrainian military justified? — Is US proxy war justified? — Should US proxy wars also be viewed as war crimes?

I find it absurd that when it comes to international geopolitics, and US foreign policies, there is no such a practice called justice and ‘not guilty until proven guilty’. It seems all such common rationality and objectivity all OUT THE WINDOW on grand scale of international affairs. US has everything to do with setting the international rule base and break every rule base it created. I welcome multipolar new world order, because US as a world dictator is not qualified to run the world.

It’s safe to say many countries that practices freeDUMB and demoCRAZY led by US models, have the most politicized and brainwashed population who can be more dangerous and hateful than the people under US accused ‘authoritarian’ countries. Because people from freeDUMB and demoCRAZY countries tend to view themselves as the ‘freest and most democratic’ societies, so they believe their fake news media more religiously.
