Of course we can trust China, China did not go around the world invading other countries and massacring their people and looting their resources, contrarily the west have been doing that for hundreds of years.

Exactly. I don’t get this, why does China need to ‘constantly prove’ itself to be trustworthy to the west, why this is not the case the other way around? Who invaded China and who has been invasive aggressors for the last few hundred years that messed up the world? I don’t think it’s China last time I checked. Instead of asking “Can we trust China”, why not ask “Can we trust the west”?
