Perhaps we can ask ourselves a simple question, why are US neighboring countries and region (except Canada which is predominately white) are mostly impoverished with US being the most powerful and richest? Why do China’s neighboring countries and region prosper together with China’s rise?

@junebug8485 I didn’t say ASEAN just ‘started to prosper’ after China’s rise, but ASEAN’s GDP exploded and has become a economic powerhouse DOES have everything to with China’s rise. And RCEP which is led by China will make Asian region of economy more powerful and prosperous. Why are you disputing facts? Don’t get things mixed up with misinterpretation.

@margaretcaine4219 Even though some of the ASEAN countries like Cambodia and Laos are still lacking behind others, it has something to do with their own countries domestic political climate and policies I know China is building a high speed train in Cambodia if correct.

All human systems are only timely experiments, no one can claim ownership of any kind, they constantly evolve, thus after China reformed, it becomes “Socialism with Characteristic”, you do what you can to adapt and evolve for improvement, that’s what China did, not blindly ‘embraces’ western Capitalism. Russian did and paid dear price for blindly adopted western ‘Economic Shock Therapy’ that plummeted Russian economy after USSR broke off, China watched and learned from Russia’s painful lesson. So it’s time to shrug off the mentality of Colonial slave worship toward the west Capitalism, their model is deeply flawed.

The more I learned about the true past and true face about USA, the less I have respect and credibility for this country, most US politicians are serving the interest of US imperial hegemony, therefore they all wear badge of American Exceptionalism, they all act like they are on moral high ground, yet in fact they are morally bankrupt.
