What on earth makes you think that Sweden is doing nothing? They are doing medical research on the virus with just as much urgency as everyone else, it's just their strategy before a vaccine is found that's different. Fine, you disagree with it but that's no reason to say that they are doing nothing.

@haveagoodday2405 Still opinion. Read how most Swedes are behaving. It's called social distancing, they're just not being paranoid about it. In this respect paranoia is panic and panic helps nobody. The Swedish culture naturally practises a degree of social distancing which is why their government hasn't panicked about this pandemic, they have, quite rightly, advised that social distancing be increased and that those considered vulnerable take it rather further - as far as you would. Elsewhere the problem is increasingly being compounded by a rapidly rising suicide rate which itself is bad and may soon become as bad as the pandemic itself. I know little about this virus, or any other, but I know a bit about suicide. One cause of suicidal depression is loneliness and loneliness because of this kind of thing is especially dangerous. Sweden may well suffer less of this collateral damage than most other countries. Simply put the Covid virus is far from the sole consideration.
