  1. I wouldn't say out right avoid but certainly to cushion the blow. It is valuable to have some sort of physical currency on hand ( Even if from time to time it is worth shit like it is right now). These people in power are want a digitized form of currency being the only option. Crypto is evaluable supplement but it is not the solution to fiat currency.

  2. If we could reintroduce it and stages that would be better than all it wants because it would take time to build app the gold reserves again. But it's certainly is better to start now than stay with what we have got, flaws in gold notwithstanding
