  1. Technically speaking all Hispanics can be classified as white or at the very least as half white. Based on the number of Spaniards that came over to the new world versus the number of natives, they were outnumbered by Spaniards 2 to 1 (after you include wars, plagues, famines etc) and therefore there is probably more Spanish genetic material floating around than otherwise. Not that it matters to me but if the left word to get very specific, that I guess they could find a reason to hate them in that. If they don't like you as a Hispanic for your views they're going to call you "white" no matter what. Hell, they'll do the same thing to black people who do the same.
