  1. I don't think you said the entire bureaucracy but he wanted to cut down a bunch of it. Certain parts of the bureaucracy require Congressional consent to cut out entirely. You can't abolish departments and agencies without Congress being on board. Give him a better Congress and we'll see.

  3. Streamline it down to less than half the size if not abolish it. However- outright abolition of it will require Congress to have an official vote. Departments and agencies don't go bye-bye by Presidential decree because they were created by Congress in the first place. We don't necessarily need an FBI to enforce national law in the few cases where it can only be enforced by the federal government. We were able to do it long before the FBI and we can do it long after it's dead.

  6. If this doesn't backfire things remain the same for the establishment as they were a day ago. Not good. But if this does backfire it will be catastrophic for the swamp. One more nail in the coffin of 2024 and the 2022 midterms.

  8. DeSantis only one Florida because of the Trump nomination and only by a few decimal points. That was before anyone knew about Gillum's corruption. It should also be noted the by the time DeSantis assumed the governorship Florida was already a liens Red State and getting redder so he really didn't face much opposition within the state. Florida is one state and that's much different than the nation at large. Florida is safe for him. There's never really been an uphill battle for him in the state. Granted at this point any decent enough Republican candidate can win in 2024 but I don't want to simply decent enough. He needs a testing period a little bit longer. We have to be sure.

  10. He likes to toy with people he's competing with. Although I don't think it would be the first thing on his mind, I wouldn't put it outside the realm of possibility for him to do something like that. If that were ever to be found out to have actually happened I'd probably die laughing.

  12. He's not saying he's got faith in the legal system he's saying that they're weighing their options carefully and it doesn't equate well for them either. Saying that they know what's in their best interest is to not make a harsh move is not faith in a legal system. There's nuance here.
