  1. 2 big problems Christianity has on the issue: It commercializes the conception of life and there are dead kids along the way for near every success. We are pro natalist. But not this way. Strategically, however, you are correct. Leave it to the states.

  2. While I agree it's more a state issue like abortion, we've got plenty of orphans and foster kids. But not all deserve kids. And the commercialization of the creation of human life is atrocious along with all the dead kids it takes to get even one successful ivf child right.
