Well that stuff we already know and many have pointed out. It's not particularly unique.

Some kind of coordinated effort by a combination of political narrative rhetoric from various individuals within one or both parties, and maybe even also the corporate media, to promote something or someone that doesn't actually have organic support among the populace or a voter base, by making it seem like it does have organic support among the populace or a voter base. It tends to be a deep state tactic to fend off someone they fear by putting someone who believe to be easier to handle, defeat, or might even low-key be on their side in its place. In this case there is an AstroTurf for certain people to run. For the deep State they use it to get out of tough spots like the one they are in right now in terms of Trump likely running. They use a variety of tactics to do this but there's usually a few tells if you look close enough to the pattern of their behavior and rhetoric.

Trump is very unlikely to grab at that idea. There's a lot of smart people Trump knows and pompeo would not really get a lot of people excited the way Rand Paul, Kari Lake or Ron DeSantis would (all three of whom are also intelligent, especially Paul). I just think that DeSantis and Lake are going to want to be governors first before moving on.

Gabbard's been a bleeding heart Lefty for years but she likes to cuddle the GOP voters into thinking she's on their side when she's about as anti-gun as AOC or Bernie Sanders. She wouldn't even get 10% of the vote in any given GOP primary especially against Trump. If anything it would actually make it easier for Trump than it will already be if she hopped in.

@camerongunn7906 honestly I think it should be Paul 2028 followed by him. I actually like Lake more then DeSantis but she needs to prove herself in the governorship spot. If she does well I'd actually say she should go after Paul and then DeSantis follow her.

Black piller be gone.

It is unlikely that either of those will be VP choices. But far less likely Pompeo. Especially with the Florida law needing to be changed to allow two people from the state of Florida to run on the same ticket for POTUS/VP in order for that to happen (at least I'm pretty sure that is the law in Florida).

@patricktuorto gabbard is about as anti-gun as AOC. She's just trying to pal around with some of the up and coming GOP maga crowd for clout.

Actually the independent vote would be far more fired up by the semi libertarianism of Rand Paul.

@wwclay86 there are exceptions to every rule and there are some notable military exceptions. Miley is the highest among them and quite frankly there are several generals along with him (however Millie is the one I can actually remember the name of it any particular time). Most of the average veterans out in the public are decent enough but the higher you go into the upper echelon things change a bit. I'm never going to look at someone's military credentials and say "well that there's a good person we need in office" when they run for office without looking at more than just that. Countless people in the past have run on their military credentials just to go on to ruin a bunch of stuff when they get in office. That was the bulk of McCain's entire political defense was his military service and the man's probably rotting in hell as we speak.
