  1. A fair assessment. Until the modern military industrial complex is curbed in some way it is probably not advisable to join even if you are patriotic. We need a military, but only out of necessity for defense which the current order does not properly uphold. No point joining if you're only part of the iron boot.

  3. ​ @williamsmith9026  I would think that at least half of the on-the-ground soldiers would have a serious issue with that. They'd never be able to truly go home again without having to look behind their backs everyday. The average political persuasion and home background for your average military personnel can tell me that alone. The higher-ups though, yeah, the average one is not your friend.
