@bunberrier I don't think so. Hardcore Democrat voters are extraordinarily turned off by him now. He might run in the primaries but he would lose them. I think he's content being the de fact the most powerful member of the Senate. If he ran it wouldn't even have a chance of being the Democrat nominee. Most Democrats would not vote for him. Especially the hard liners.

@bunberrier True. We will see. Though I doubt it. In order for the Democrats to truly reform they need to crash and burn hard, not only in 2022 but 2024. I'm pretty sure the message will be crystal clear then. They are going to get Manchin unless they crash and burn first. I highly doubt a simple midterm sweep is going to get them to rethink things but too successive defeats might. In the end, who knows.
