  1. ​ @g9lk  I'd say he knocks nine out of ten of those questions out of the park. The only thing that I think he was particularly weak on was his response to the abortion issue, which I think he should have just said leave up to the states. If he did so badly at answering questions they wouldn't be clipping the live stream... They would be leaving the entire thing up on CNN's YouTube channel. He stomped her.

  6. ​​ @SoilToSoul  actually government intervention makes it worse. Especially in the long run. What it will take is a lot of deregulation. However he doesn't want to push that quite yet in their faces. I will say however that his take on abortion was the weakest part. Other than that pretty good. I would have preferred for him to say that he wanted it to remain a state thing from now on... Probably would not have made the Evangelicals happy though (most of them may be good people but often times are not the most strategic).

  7. I have not met many Independence that don't agree with him at this point and that is post 2020. I am an independent in a circle of Independente myself, so I should know. He already has about 50% of them. He has what it takes to win five or 10% more. I'd say at least 20% are potential flips that remain.

  14. It would probably be best to do so after he has become the nominee or right before he has basically got it in the bag. Of course it might be sooner should DeSantis decide to get in the race (which would be ill-advised on his part).

  16. He was very good when he qualified it by saying there were a few that got out of hand. It's a spectacular response and it will probably win over most Independents on that issue. The only people that are going to get mad about what he said are the already hardcore lefties.
