  1. It it would depend on a phone you can bet Apple would immediately attempt to gatekeep and put roadblocks in front of it. Like taking forever to review a companion app etc.

  2. I think the CT is way better for pedestrian safety than a regular US truck. For one it has a way lower hood so you are going to see small kids. Second, being a Tesla it has active safety systems that will help you avoid a collision in the first place - that is way better than softening a collision.

  3. I sense potential though. Not exactly iPhone 1 but definitely there is some potential. Probably a lot of the mentioned issues could be resolved by software, i.e. over time. For example constant power draw (being warm) likely a cause of not optimized power management.
