  2. Lesson: don't buy niche or loser car brands. There are only two EV makers that are profitable today, Tesla and BYD (who still makes hybrids btw). Legacy car makers are at high risk of going bankrupt when demand for gas cars falls dramatically (as it inevitably will). Even BYD could be risky as their profit margin is razor thin - not much room for error.

  5. Combustion engine cars burn down far more often than EVs. And that makes sense, because their engines critically rely on (mostly) water cooling working flawlessly as most of the fuel's energy is converted to heat and not motion.
