  1. What you are missing is talking to an actual Japanese familiar with the industry and get THEIR opinion and insight. For example you could try to reach out to Carlos Goshn, former CEO of Nissan to get his opinion.

  2. If I was working 12 hour shifts like they do at Tesla I would totally appreciate an on-site apartment - especially if nearby housing is expensive and/or far away. It looks like the factory is located in the middle of nowhere.
