  1. The lack of a paint shop alone saves biggus buckus. You can wrap the Cybertruck - Franz Holzhausen drives around in a black CT for example.

  2.  @samjubilee6593 I don't think you can make money in the car industry by making prototypes (or cranking them out) - unless you sell them for millions like the hypercars. You need to set up mass manufacturing and that is what we see here. It takes another level of (manufacturing) engineering and gigabucks, which is why so many car startups fail.
