  1. I think it will destroy the first class tickets for regular airlines, maybe even business class eventually. BFR doesn't need to match the mortality rate of present day airlines - nobody sits down and looks up mortality rates before deciding how to travel or whether to travel. Did you know whether it was 1 per 16 million or 1 per 100.000 before watching the video? It will be ok if they crash only once every couple of years. For public perception the frequency of bad events is more important. Government permitting is a thing but consider that they could fly from and to international waters
