I joined the military at 17 and got out at 20 in 1982. Between 1982 and 1984, I tried everything to find a job. I took several menial jobs at $4.50 an hour to make ends meet while searching for a better one. I cleaned bowling alleys, trash cans, toilets, ash trays etc. I also worked a job that left me covered in hot wax every day. In 1984, No one was hiring so I reenlisted in the military. I stayed in the Army for another 7 years until 1992. I got out of the military with little funds and applied for several government positions. In January of 1993, I was hired by a county government. I worked 30 years until I turned 61 and retired with approximately 2 million in assets, a pension, a nice home and zero debt!

Job searching isn't about how many jobs you don't get. It's about the one that you do get. Numbers don't matter. Searching for a job is a full-time job!

Every time I buy fast food, the order is incomplete or inaccurate. To the workers at these restaurants, the hard earned money you spend isn't as important as the money they make screwing up your order. No thanks, I'd rather spend a few more dollars at a sit in restaurant!

As a 26 year old, where is your husband?

These people don't understand that employers check tic tok and other social media platforms to see them in the wild!

4
Government makes it difficult for businesses to operate today. Too many damned regulations!

Ladies, save the student loan money and find yourself a husband. The feminist routine has played itself out. Strong independence is fine until you have to pay the bills. Be good to your partner and together, life will be good to you!

GenZ dream job = not having a job! Good luck! Employers understand this thinking and are picking only the best of the worst these days!
4
The problem is; people who believe business is responsible for paying what's considered a "living wage." That companies are supposed to increase pay to stay up with the rising cost of living. That's not how it works. It never has been!
3
How many of these women are married?
3
Ladies, do what you were meant to do biologically. Find a good man, have kids, nurture your family and be a stay at home mom. Being a wonderful mom is probably the most important job in life. The intangibles are greater than a bi-weekly paycheck!
3
Make colleges and universities pay off student debt!

The problem is thinking employers are responsible for pay that keeps up with the cost of living!

@1stTnetix "Capitalism coupled with materialism?" I would argue it's the materialism part! Many want it now and can't seem to leave the credit cards alone. Live within your means!

I don't get it. The company is made up of people like you. Why didn't you do something?
2
@cosmicreef5858 Victim? Everyone's a victim these days!

Why do people think employers owe them a "living wage?" What is a living wage? 100k? 250k? More?
2
@MB-xv7er If that's privilege, everybody should be forced to experience it!
2
GenZ thinks companies are supposed to supplant family and friends. That's not what companies are in business for. Once this fantasy of business is understood by this generation, it will be easier to go to work every day!

The tic tok generation is useless!
