  1. People should never invest, deposit, or gamble money they can not afford to loose. Any intuition can loose or misplace or close or whatever. I always say the only money I have for sure is what I have in cash in my wallet.

  4. His "job" paid better than many "real" jobs. Traders who have too much fear can't trade and win because they will be unwilling to take risk.

  6. Well that depends on his income vs expenses. The reason is because if he lives on 1/2 his income he will have the entire amount back in 2 years if everything goes well!!! I always say I can miss hundreds of dollars each year but not thousands. But that is largely due to me living on 2/3 to 3/4th of my income. So at worst every 3 to 4 years I have my entire income after tax to use at worst.
